The Fall 2009 fashion season brings us an assortment of Urban-prep’ster looks, straight from the UK. Today we’ll be focusing on Top Man and ASOS, two stylish clothing companies from Britain. The only downfall is you’ll have to order online, or live in New York City. Top Man recently opened it’s US flagship store in Soho, and ASOS items can only be ordered through their website. However, both companies do have US-based warehouses, which keeps shipping costs low, and delivery time relatively painless.

Here’s a quick guide to online shopping that keeps your closet trendy and your wallet full:

ASOS.com & Topman.com, two hip online shopping portals from the UK, offer an endless array of looks at affordable price points. Both sites have US distribution centers, which keeps shipping costs low. While ASOS remains an online only shopping experience, TopMan recently opened it’s first ever US store in Manhattan (Broadway & Broome – SoHo ). When shopping ASOS, note that they offer a wide array of price points, including high-end luxury designers. The key to ASOS-saavy shopping is to browse their self-titled brand, ASOS MAN, which remains extremely affordable and comparable in price to H&M. Below are some hot picks for for spring, ranging from sharp formal wear to casual and hip street wear.
